The accounting practice known today as Lawrence Parkhurst, P.A. began in 1990 in Wayzata, Minnesota when Lawrence Parkhurst began a new public accounting practice with the support of business relationships with several long term clients, a supportive banker, and the office support of another local CPA firm.
Prior to 1990, Lawrence Parkhurst became associated with the firm of Arnott, Sauer & Parkhurst after returning to the practice of public accounting from a four year period as a corporate executive. During 1985 and prior years, Lawrence Parkhurst was employed as a Senior Manager by Fox & Company (now known as Grant Thornton) and by Strand & Roe, both public accounting firms. Strand & Roe merged with Fox & Company in 1981.

The firm of Lawrence Parkhurst, P.A. reflects many of the strong values of service, quality, and fairness that Lawrence Parkhurst has established through experiences at Arnott, Sauer & Parkhurst, Fox & Company and Strand & Roe.
Although the history of the firm is relatively recent, a significant number of clients and their families have been served in a professional relationship by Larry Parkhurst from ten to more than twenty five years. |
